Welcome to the Ocean Drive (CR621) Upgrades and Bridge Improvements Local Concept Development Study website!

Cape May County, in conjunction with the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO) and the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is performing a Local Concept Development (LCD) Study for Ocean Drive (CR621) Upgrades and Bridge Improvements. A Local Concept Development (LCD) Study is the first phase of the Local Project Delivery Process for transportation improvements. The purpose of the LCD is to evaluate sensible and practical alternatives which will guide necessary route upgrades and maintenance. The LCD Phase is anticipated to be completed by the Spring of 2019. The next phase of design is Local Preliminary Engineering. This phase is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2020.
